Staff Sgt. 4nd Mrs. Harry Ram-
stein are living at 1306 Magnolia
avenue, t Brownwowl, Mrs. Barn-
stein ia the former Miaa Sarah
Miles. They spent last week-end
here with Mrs. Barpstein’s mother.
The young people were married
at Baird on January 29.
Mrs. Bamstein attended Stam-
ford High school and Our I July of
Victory academy. Fort Worth. Re-
cently she has been employed in
Brown wood.
Staff Sgt. Bamstein is s son of
Mr. and Mrs. Hymie Bamstein of
Corpus Christi. The family came
from Cxechoslavakia 10 years ago.
Staff Sgt. Bamstein has been in
foreign Service in New Guinea for
two years. Ho is now stationed at
Camp Bowie. *

Club Meets
The Stamford Home. Demonstra-
tion Club met Friday in the home
•f Mrs. Frank West. Business meet-
ing was directed by the president,
Mrs. Joe Nowlin. ** - ’ ;
Dairying was studied by ’ the
group as to production, quality and
products, under the direction of the
Jones County home demonstration
agent. Mm. Clara B. Long. Butter
was scored and cottage cheese was
made.
Valentins theme was used in dec-
orations a fid refreshments were
served to the following: Mm. Ben
Edge, Mm. Hiram E. Olson, Mm.
Mamhall Bohannan, Mm. Lee Bo-
hannan, Mm. Jimmy Muchlstein,

urday after spending several days
here. They came for the funeral of
N. C Cushenberry, Mrs. Fergu-
son’s brother, who died tn Arling-
ton and waa buried here.
"Mrs. Johnny -Williams, who un-
derwent an operation at the Stam-
ford Sanitarium, was removed
from the hospital the latter part
of la*t waek. Her mother-in-law,
Mm. E. B. Williams of Fort Worth,
is here.wjth the family.
