Evelyn Hall and Wsldon Hansen
were married April 16 at 8 p.m. at
the Church of Christ in Lueders.
T. J. Moon of Dallas, a cousin of
the bride, conducted the ceremony.
The church altar waa decorated
with white roses. <.
The bride wore a rose and blue
two-piece floral design crepe Doris
Dodson original with black and
white accessories. Her corsage was
of white and pink split carnations.
She was attended by Lois Nail as
maid of honor and Eula Mae Dunn
ts t.U\ u-aid. Miss Nail wore a
gray dressmaker suit with black
accessories and a corsage of white
carnations. Miss Dunn wore an
aqua suit with pink and black ac-
cessories and s corsage of pink
carnations.
The bride was given in marriage
by her brother, Nathan Hall, who
is at the Terrell Air Base, Terrell.
Fete Jensen, cousin of the groom,
served as best man.

The final study of “Indians in
Americas Life” by the Woman's
Society of Christian Service was
held at St. John** Methodist Church-
Monday afternoon. The devotolnal
was “An Indian Prayer” led by
Mrs. Travis Roue he tt, followed by
a summary of the entire study giv-
en by Mrs. Billy Bryant. A round-
table discuaeion closed the meeting.
The study covering five weeks
proved to be intereetia^ and Umely
and attendance was gratifying.

Visits Places of
Interest in Stamford
The Twinkling Sunset Bluebirds
met at the school house Thursday
afternoon of last week. The lead
er, Mrs. Archie Pardue. made pic-
tures of the group. Then they pa-
raded to town accompanied by Mrs.
Pardue and Mrs. C. A Johnson.
The group visited the offices of
Swenson land and ('attic Com-
pany, the city hall and the fin- sta-
tion and then went to a drug store
for refreshment* with Carlene Ter-
ry a< hostess.
Kabout Boat to California
Theodore Kahout, fireman, sec-
ond class. United States Navy,
spent his leave here with his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Kahout.
He has been stationed in Missis-
sippi and will report to California
from here.

Take Train Ride
The third and fourth grade pu-
pils rode to Rule on the train
Monday afternoon. Only five out
of 30 had ever ridden a train be-
fore. Thejr were accompanied by
Mrp. Bruno Kupatt and their teach-
er. Mrs. Homer Houston. They were
met by the room mothers, who
brought them back to Sagerton.

which were served with potato
chips, cookies and cold drinks. In
