A Dance A Mile Long*
The completion of a mile of
concrete sidewalk fourteen ft
wide is not to pass unnoticed
even in such a wide awake city
as Aronsas Pass.
At the Commersial Club Tues-
day nigght C. S. Corrigan sug-
gested that we celebrate, and as
our commercial club knows a
good suggestion when they see
it, they voted to celebrate and
instructed the committee to get
up a dance a mile long, for Satur-
day eveuing, Aug. 29-
Everybody in town must be

There will be a “speller” on
every corner to instruct those
who dont know how and feed
high life to the old and rheum-

like children. The committee is

The Progess admits that it is
not giving as much general news
as it should under ordinary circum-
stances, but the circumstances are
extraordinary just now and it
will be noticed that all space is
taken up in teljing the Progress
of the new seaport city of Aran-
sas Pass, Subscribers are coming
in daily from everywhere and
they must know what is going on;
then the Progress is the best ad-
vertising medium.
