MEET OUR
PRACTICAL POLITICS
Senior Citizens
Years
Gone
There will be increased emphasis during the next feu-
months in branding political candidates as a conservative or
a liberal. We as American citizens and voters should give
this subject a thorough study with a copy of the State and
National Constitution before us.
By Fern Jefferson
Id
The tendency is to brand a politician as being conserva-
tive if he believes in less government interference, than the
person doing the branding. The same thing would be true in
branding a politician as a liberal The liberal label is usual-
ly tacked on anyone who believes in more government than
the person doing the branding
Out of a discussion of liberal and conservative brands,
there surely must be a right and wrong Our const:
provides: (1) We believe and trust in God <2
portance
-ie Individual (4) Dignity of
he Individual (3) Freedom of ____
fork (5) Private Ownership of Property (6) The pu...
ive (7) Free Competition (8) Government as a Protector
lot a Provider.
A politician that has a record or a firm statement of be-
lef in the above basic points of the constitution will get our
’ote regardless of the brand.

T:v this, just for fun. What

walking along and ran into a
"bole' No fair looking in a

Did you realize that human
beings and monkeys are in the
same biological group. I'm not
sure I like the idea b u t it's
something to think about.
Maybe I can help along on
guessing who I am. Think
about these: 1 m between 9 and
90 > ears old. Does my real
name start with an ”M” like
the phone,/ one? I'm not saying
it does, but this is the kind of
stuff you should look for.
Now I'm going to be inform-
ative: Here are two names you
may want to connect. Wiley
France and Peggy Scott. If
people don't get mad. maybe I
can do this again sometime.
And just in case, my apologies
to Wiley and Peggy.
Remember to write to the
