Now then, Bonham is getting to he
the cleanest town morally in the
“whole wide world,” which she is try-
ing to take for Jesus, a- she is run-
ning two rousing revivals at once, one
at the hirst Methodist church and one
at the First. Christian church.
As ari evidence of what these spir- i
ituai clean-ups ate doing we will cite!
the attendance at the Sunday school-
mentioned below, for last Sunday, i
If there is any town around here our
inches that can heat this for the mini

several things, one of which is the!
fact that the largest attendance dull

strides toward things that make for j

London, March 80. - The submarine
! fear is on in England. Apprehension
of other vessels la-ing blown up, fol-
lowing I he horror of the Falaba arid;
4(|uilla. which were attend* d with n j
loss of life reaching 144, has leirori/. ,
id the people. The admiralty assure j
steamer men that it is doing its ut-
most to protect all passenger vessels. ]
The Elder Dempste. line admits that
one hundred and ten are mi-sing fror
the passengers and crew of the Flaba j
end that they are undoubtedly dead
Trawlers on the south Wale
I report many dead bodies floating oi ,
! the ocean. The admiralty says t h« '
transatlantic liners are speedy enoughi
to escape the submarines. Tin1 t ews
papers fear further passenger shi| ,
torpedoing. They think Germany i-
at the end of her rope, and is giving
England a touch of the fright!’ due
inflicted on Belgium,
Warned by wireless regarding th< )
fate of the F alaba, the liner O dura |
sped into Liverpool, guarded by dc |
stroyers and minesweepers. She i :
about as speedy as the Falaba, so
feared the submarine might overtaki
her. Her officers were gravely con- |
reined, und had boats ready.
A revised Falaba list -hows one
hundred and twelve dead. Flight
bodies were i snivel ed, while one hun
dred and four are still minnii.g.
