Mrs. D. W. Kerapner,

Galveston, Texas.
Dear Mrs. Kempner;
Regarding your letter of June 14th, it
is not necessary to have members of the committee
with the patients at all times.
The "Houston Holidays" group do not pick
the men up until noon on Sunday* They go to church,
lounge around, etc. It may be well for you to call
Mr. Tommy Thompson at Houston, Preston 6713, and get
his slant on how he handles the setup.
They have been doing this for nearly two
years and have had all kinds of experiences which
they have overcome. His information will be valuable
to you and I know he will be glad to help you.

16 June 1945
Sincerely,
FARAON J. jsfiGSS,
Captain, MedT. Adm. C.,
Post Public Relations Officer
