EMERGENCY The
loupe pie has one and
cups of sugar... NOT

mistake. Nell Watkins of Dallas
wrote that she’d made the pie
(guessed the sugar should be
less). Nell is a "pinch and dab"
cook also...says she added a
pinch of salt and a dab of
cinnamon.. -got raves____people
who tried to guess what kind of
pie she was serving could not.
Sunday Afternoon. Tommy
and David Worden, along with
their big dog Leroy and their
small girl dog Rag Mop. were
tooling along the Longridge
road in a very large red
tractor...All four of them were
enjoying it...especially t h e
dogs.
At EDBC Sunday evening:
Heard Joann and Rav Garner of
Seagoville visited Arch and
Norine over Saturday night.Au-
brey and Noma Beeler had their
two grandchildren Jeffrey and
Debra Tanner of Dallas in
church with them...Venice said
she and Lester and Brenda w ent
to Bogata Sunday afternoon,
found Miss Clara doing very
well...and saw Aubrey and
Johnnie Buckman... Brother
Thacker is w earing dark glasses
but his eye is healing...all the
pain has not slowed him down.

Mrs. Tootie (Mary) Nabors
attended the funeral of her
sister, Willie Harris, of Slaton,
who passed away on August 17.
Library Museum; Norvelle
Stockton said no one need be
bored on Sept. 27 next (the
fourth Saturday). The board has
big plans Harry and Bena sent
a card from somewhere in
Kentucky....Last Sunday they
collected Ruth Glanville and
went to Honey Grove to the
open house which marked the
opening of the museum there.
Saw Nessie Brookmole in
Cooper...got to apologize for
really messing up her name
sometime back.
Mike Owens has been on the
puny list.

Owens told how the 50th
anniversary party for her folks
was a complete surprise. Benny
t’ui found he had "forgotten"
sonic item and had to go back to
the house. The whole clan had
gathered to surprise Curtis and
Grace with food and fun.

the hospital but is better...and

and Thelma’s Sunday afternoon
belonged to Thelma’s long time
