Real estates
courses due
TYLER - Tyler Junior
College will offer "fast
track" real estate courses
for credit at Grand Saline
High School, beginning
Monday.
The six-week courses will
run through November 5.
The two courses offered
are Real Estate Principles,
which will meet Monday
through Thursday from
5:30 to 7:30 p.m, and Real
Estate Math, which will
also meet Monday through
Thursday from 7:40 to
9:40 pVi.
For those interested in
enrolling, registration can
take place the first evening
the class meets.
One child, Eva Nell, is
deceased. The couple has
seven grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
Leonard and Emmie are
both natives of Edgewood.
She is the former Emmie
Craft.
They were married
October 5, 1934, by her
uncle, Ernest Runge, in his
home. Also present was his
wife, Lora, and Joe Eaton.
Friends and relatives are
invited. The couple re-
quests no gifts.

day.
The guest speaker for
the meeting was Area 6
Vice-President Brad Carlo
of Maud, who spoke on set-
ting goals to the 28 mem-
bers present.
Following the meeting,
the FFA members held a
volleyball tournament.

County Volunteer Fire De-
partment will hold its mon-
thly meeting Monday at
7:30 p.m. at the Martins
Mill School.
Some topics of discussion
will be the Boxcar Willie
benefit and looking at the
new pump truck.
Everyone interested is
urged to attend. Ice cream
and cake will be served fol-
lowing the meeting.

The FFA Chapter recen-
tly purchased four pigs for
the new pig pen located
near the agriculture
building. In addition to
the pen itself, the ag
mechanics class also built
an automatic water dispen-
ser for the pen. They are
presently building feed
troughs for Jimmy Carnes.
