The members of the First
United Methodist Church and
their friends are invited to
attead church Sunday at the
morning worship hour, 11 a m.
and a family dinner will follow.
Everyone is asked to bring a
covered dish. The dinner will be
served in the recreation hall
following the service.

A Christmas Bazaar was
planned by the group and will be
held in the old bank building.
A nominating committee
consisting of Mary Kurtz,
Evelyn Foerster, and Gergia
Esterday was appointed to
select officers for the coming
year.
The next meeting will be held
Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the home
ot Mrs. Georgia Esterday at 349
Sunset, Ingleside On The Bay.
Secret pals will be drawn at the
meeting.
The hostess served refresh-
ments of pie, coffee, and tea.

In Beeville Parade
Representing Aransas Pass in
the Beeville Western Week
Parade last Saturday were
Queen Shrimporee, Aleisha
Yeamans, and Miss Shrim-
poree, Kathy Yeager. Three
year-old Celeste Yeager was
featured on the giant Shrimp
float and assisted Aleisha and
her sister Kathy in waving to
the large responsive crowd
which was lined up six to eight
people deep along the parade
route.
Accompanying the girls to
Beeville were their mothers,
Mrs. Neil Yeamans and Mrs.
Ronald Yeager.
City Councilman Felix N.
Turnbough, Sr., driver for the
Shrimp float, termed the
parade in Beeville as the largest
he had ever seen with the
biggest crowd of onlookers. He
said that five different review-
ing stands gave an enthusiastic
welcome to the local float.
