busy place to be. Our schedule
of attending to our residents’
needs is one of utmost concern,
but inspite of being on the job of

a place of enjoyable activities
for our residents who wish to
stay busy and really enjoy all

HEARING TEST
Set for Aransas Pass
Free electronic hearing tests will be given in Aransas
Hass on Oct. (Thurs.) 28th. Anyone who has trouble
hearing or understanding is welcome to come for a free
test using the latest electronic equipment to determine
his or her particular degree of hearing loss.
Diagrams showing how the ear works and some of the
causes of hearing loss will be available. Visitors can also
see how a simple operation on the ear has helped
thousands of people to hear again and how the latest
electronic developments are helping thousands more.
The free hearing test in Aransas Pass will be held at
II.K.B Grocery Parking Lot, 524 So. Commercial, on
Thursday, Oct. 28th from 10:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
Mr. and Mrs. Farl Barnes will be conducting the test
through the courtesy of Beltone Hearing Aid Service,
3122 So. Alameda, Corpus Christi, Texas.
If you cannot get to Aransas Pass for your free test,
you may come directly to the Corpus office Monday
through Friday from 9 a.in. to 4:30 p.m. Hours after 4:30
p.m. by appointment only.
For home appointment call Corpus Christi, 884-2217
and ask for Beltone.
give of their time, talents, and
money, to provide. So let’s see
what happened last week
Monday got us off to a good
beginning, with John Blair and
Altie Lee Albers from Hock port
coming over to play some good
“Blue Grass" music. Altie also
has a beautiful voice and she
sings for us and we all enjoy
this.
Tuesday morning, yours truly
got the big idea that she could
lead our exercise class. Well!
She did, but..., she decided she
had better wait a while longer
and let Irma Owens continue
the great job she has been
doing.
Wednesday morning our paint
class was held and we have
several who have taken up
painting. Stay with it, you gals!
That afternoon, the people from
the Mobile Inn Trailer Park of
Fulton, or I should say “The
Friendship Club” from this
park and "The Life Savers” of
Aransas Pass had their big
game afternoon.
Thursday morning, Rev.
Pruitt and his group from the
Aransas Pass Pentecostal
Church of God were out for their
weekly program and also
visited those who were not able
to attend the services.
Thursday afternoon, the
Ladies Auxiliary of the Aransas
Pass V.F.W. Post was on hand
for its monthly game day.
Friday afternoon, Father
James Hamilton and his
followers from St. Marys Star
of the Sea Catholic Church of
Aransas Pass were out to
celebrate Mass for our Catholic/
residents. Roy Archey, one of
our residents, also helps with
this service.
Sunday morning services
were led by Rev. A1 Bankert
who we all love and appreciate
for his dedication of serving our
home. Sunday afternoon,
another group of dedicated
people, the people from the
First Christian Church of
Ingleside were over for their
monthly “Sing In."
So you see, we do stay busy
and do have lots of fun out at our
home. Thanks to all who make
this possible and I guess you can
tell, yours truly is definitely
improving because she is
writing things as they should be
written. Don’t forget to get your
tickets for our quilt.
