Seals were married Sunday
evening in the Seventh Day
Adventist Church in Corpus
Christi.
Parents of the couple are Mr
and Mrs John Balli, 4825

and Mrs Calvin Seals of
Aransas Pass.
The bride wore a chapel
length gown of nylon organza
with crystal pleated flounce at
the hemline. Queen Ann sleeves
and a sheer yoke Her veil of
illusion was held by a pearl and
lace trimmed headpiece. She
carried a bouquet of pink and
white carnations centered with
a white orchid
Miss Carte Balli was her
sister's maid of honor Brides
maids were Miss Linda Hinson
of Nashville, Tenn and Miss
Alfa Laurel of Victoria
Serving the groom as best
man was Kenny Crawford of
Kingsville Groomsmen were
Floyd Seals of Port Isabel and
Eddie Redmond of Llano

Has Aloha Party
Members of the Ingleside
Wesleyan Service Guild held an
Aloha party Monday evening in
(he home of the president, Mrs
Oilir* R. Stewart on Ave. A
The home was beautifully
decorated for the coming
holidays. The Guilders wore
colorful long dresses and each
one was given an artificial lei to
match her dress. Nineteen
members were present The
tables were set with grass mats
and the food carried out the
Hawaiian theme. Soft Hawaiian
music was played during the
meal
Mrs Stewart conducted a
brief business meeting at the
meal's end. Plans were made
and committees were appointed
for the annual Women’s Society
and Guild Christmas party
which will be held December 17.
The festivity will be held in the
home of Mrs. Carl L. Hughes on
lever’s Lane.
Mrs C M Barber was in
charge of a most interesting
program. Mrs. L P Jones gave
an impressive meditation Mrs.
R E Phelps read an interesting
history of the early years of the
Guild, which was compiled by
Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Phelps
Mrs B R Bowden and Mrs
C. V Reid presented a skit,
naming each member with a
clever joke. The program
closed with the announcement
that the new evening circle of
United Methodist Women would
be named in honor of Mrs.
Zelma Shrider, a charter
member
Gifts were presented to Mrs
Stewart, Mrs. Dana S. Green
and to Mrs J R Williams.
On January 1, 1974, there will
no longer be a W.S.C.S. or
W.S.G., all women on the
church will be known as United
Methodist Women, hence the
“Aloha” to the old organization.
But "Aloha” also means
“greeting” and "welcome” and
Methodist Women are ready to
meet a new day

Installation Of
Officers Held
Members of the Altar Society
of Our Lady of the Assumption
Catholic Church held an
installation of officers at the
Church Hall recently
Margaret Hahn was installed
as president, Ilene Majek as
vice-president, Nancy Rogers
as secretary, Joyce Hahn as
treasurer, and Julia Salinas as
reporter.
The members also made
plans for the annual New Year’s
dance sponsored by the Society
The dance will he held at the
Catholic Hall with music
provided by “The New Country
Sun”.

display and explanation was
given on how to make them.
During a short business
meeting following, plans were
made for the Christmas party to
be held on December 18

Christmas Festival
Set by FHA
The Ingleside Chapter of the
Future Homemakers of Ameri-
ca (FHA) will present an old
fashioned Christmas festival
December 17 at the First
Baptist Church of Ingleside.
The festival will begin at 7
p m with the public invited
A choir made up of FHA girls
will sing Christmas carols,
Rebecca Parker will furnish
piano music for the singing
Darcy Ehmann will present a
special Christmas reading.
Refreshments will be served
BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT
Mr and Mrs. Larry Rogers of
Ingleside announce the birth of
a girl December 5 in Ewing
Memorial Hospital in Taft. The
new arrival weighed 6 pounds
and 12 ounces and has been
named Jennifer Michael
Mr and Mrs Joel Rogers of
Ingleside are the paternal
grandparents and the maternal
grandparents are Mrs. Mary
Jane Veazey and the late James
Mauch Sr.
After the program the FHA
girls will return to the High
