STUDY CLUB MEETS AT
MAEDGEN HOME
The Study Club was entertain-
ed last Wednesday afternoon at
the home of Mrs! Malcolm Maed-
gen with Mrs. Walter Leber and
Mrs. T. H. Ramey as hostesses.
Program was an International
Relations program with empha-
sis on United Nations observance
Mrs. H. D. Miller was chair-
man. Mrs. C. E. Aldridge spoke
on “New Research in Diet” ana
Mrs. J L Jones on “Can the Earth
Feed Its Peiple”, both topics in
regard to a plentiful supply of
food for the World.
Mrs. F. Van Wagner conducted
the United Nations Week obser-
vance, giving a review of "the
General Assembly meeting in
Paris, Sept. 21 to Oct 20, and end-
ing with the reciting of the pledge
of allegience to the U. N. charter
and a prayer, led by Mrs. D. B.1
Miller, for success of the United,
Nations.
