Board will hold a regular meeting
at the Reese-Wil-Mond Hotel at
8 p. m. Friday evening according
to John C. Myrick, President, and

Rev. R. R. Taylor, Pastor of
the Assembly of God church in
Harlingen states that the church
was full last Sunday evening to
hear the message on Bible pro-
phecy and world events.
Next Sunday night he will speak
on the prophetical subject, “Last
Days Pentecostal Visitation,” and
the part it plays in' fulfilling the
scriptures and the return of the
Messiah.

of God church convenes at 9:45 A.

Miss Beryl Barber visited her
parents in Kingsville on the week-

Dr. and Mrs. J. C. Watkins have
returned from a short visit in
Waco.
Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Johnson re-
turned Monday from a visit with
Mr. Johnson’s mother in Houston
over the weekend.
Dr. and Mrs. C. Olcott have as
their guest Mrs. Adele Clifton of
New York City who arrived by
plane at the Brownsville airport
Wednesday evening. Mrs. Clifton
has recently returned home from
Honolulu where she spent the win-
ter.
Mrs. Paul Russell White who
has been the guest of her mother,
Mrs. J. F. Chastain will return to
her home in Houston Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Torbett
left Wednesday for Gatesville
where they were called because of
the grave illness of Mr. Torbett’s
father.
Hokey Phillips, San Antonio,
student in Texas Military Insti-
tute, will be the weekend guest
of the Rose twins and Mark Hertz.
Mrs. J. A. Brackett of Waco
is the guest of her daughter, Mrs.
Hugh Ramsey and of her daugh-
ters, Mrs. A. O. Reese and Mrs.
James E. Towle of Brownsville.
