from the Moulton club met
at the home of Mrs. Tom
Beale last Tuesday to clean
and dye china berries for
beads. This is a revival of
an old fad which is proving
an interesting and inexpen-
sive hobby.

afternoon were Mrs. John
Cinadr and Mrs. Hugo Fis-
beck of Moulton, Mrs. A. L.
Ellis, Mrs. Leslie Haas, Mrs.
Rudy Wiedemann and Ka-

Club To Meet
The Home Demonstration
Club will meet Friday, Nov.
14, at 2 p. m. with Mrs. Paul
Green.
The agent, Mrs. Nettie

sent “How To Make a Good
Appearance” and members
will model their clothes
made in the semi-tailoring
school.

Rev. Francis M. Casey,
S.S.E., conducted a week’s
mission in our parish be-
ginning Sunday, Oct. 26.
Although the cold rainy
weather cut the attendance
considerably, the inspiring
sermons and instructions
were received by an appre-
ciative audience.
The mission was com-
bined with the 40 hours of
devotions Wednesday thru
Friday.
Those from our parish
participating in the Christ
the King procession in
Schulenburg Sunday after-
noon were: Rev. Francis M.
Casey, Raphael Pavlica,
Mr. and Mrs. John Otahal,
Mrs. Henry Hanzleka, Clem
Vinklarek, and John Vink-
larek.
Birthday Party
Debbie Harbich was hon-
ored by her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Edmund J. Har-
bich, with a party for her
fourth birthday in the home
of her grandmother, Mrs.
Gertrude Pavlica, last Sun-
day afternoon from two un-
til four o’clock.
Debbie and her little
guests had a jolly time
playing while the older
guests enjoyed conversa-
tions.
The little ones were pre-
sented little hats as favors
and wore them while par-
taking of a dainty and de-
licious lunch which was
served in courses.
She received many lovely
gifts for which she express-
ed her delighted “Thank
You.”
