THIS PICTURE WILL CHANGE!
A here’ll be a large, new electric generator in this CPL power
plant soon... making more kilowatts for you. This is only one part
of CPL’s power expansion program. By next summer, we will have
41 per cent more power capacity than we have today. Fact is, in
the five-year period since 1946, CPL will more than double its power
supply.
. Such an increase will mean plenty of power for South Texas’
farms, homes, and industries... more reserve power for the protec-
tion of your electric service. You can be assured CPL folks are con-
stantly working, planning and building to serve you well... both
now and in the future.

The 41 children, together with
their teachers, presented a splen-

when the children sang lustily

present.
The congergation expressed
its appreciation to the teachers
with an envelope containing a
cash gift. The teachers were:
Alice Veselka and Elizabeth Per-
son, teachers of the Primary;
Rolland Pillack and Doris Richter
teachers of the Beginners; Mrs.
W. Marburger, Junior teacher;
and Ida Marburger, teacher of
the Senior Class.
For the intermission between
the program and refreshments,

ganization of the church, pre-
sented a program of “television
and radio broadcast” and sing-
ing which was enjoyed by young
and old.
Thereupon, all present enjoyed
ice cream, cookies and cake for
refreshments.
