+Approved a seven-year contract with National Transit Ser-
vices Inc. to provide a park-and-ride commuter bus service to

+Approved an agreement with San Jacinto Mall to provide a
parking area for the commuter service.
+Agreed to hold a town meeting May 26 to discuss projects
proposed by the Strategic Planning Commission and to receive
citizen input on projects to improve the quality of life in
Baytown.

its appeal of a federal court ruling, mandating the adoption of a
municipal election system based partially on single-member
