On December 14 the M.Y.F.
held their regular meeting and
had a Christmas party.
The president called the
meeting to order. The minutes
were read and approved. The
treasurer reported a balance on
hand of eleven dollars and two
cents ($11.02). *
Under unfinished business
getting new members was dis-
cussed.
A motion was made and sec-
onded to bring candy or fruit
to church Sunday, December
20, for Dorothy Wagner.
Barbara Turek reported that
at the Sub-District meeting in
Eagle Lake each M.Y.F. was
asked to donate a song book to
Mt. Wesley.
Barbara Turek and Barbara
Henkhaus bought a Christmas
card for Mrs. Boyle and every
one signed it. It was decided to
give Mrs. Paul, our M.Y.F. lead-
er, a set of towels for Christ-
mas. We decided to pay $3.00
for the gift.
The Worship was given by
Arlen Zander, Barbara Henk-
haus, and Barbara Turek. The
topic was “Keeping Christmas
Christian.”
A motion was made and sec-
onded that the business session
adjourn.
Following the business ses-
sion, the M.Y.F. had their
Christmas party. The refresh-
ments consisted of a snack
lunch of hot dogs, potato chips,
fritos, celery, carrots, candy,
and soda water. Games were
played and enjoyed by every-
one. Gilbert Fox was chairman
of recreation and refreshments.
Each member invited a guest
to the party.—Reporter.
