will hold an election on Oct. 11
to determine where the district
should send excess wealth now
that it is a property-wealthy dis-
trict under the statewide educa-
tion funding system commonly
known as the Robin Hood Plan.
Voters will have two proposi-
tions on the ballot.
The first proposition calls for
the district to send funds to
another school district. The sec-
ond allows the district to pur-
chase attendance credits from
the state. Voters can vote in
favor of both propositions. The
decision made in the one-time
election will determine options
available for the district to use
in the future. Voters must regis-
ter by Sept. 11 to vote in the
Goose Creek election.
