Funeral services for Harold D.
Alexander, 32, of 2418 Primrose
Street, Pasadena, were held Wed-
nesday at 2:30 P. M at Marrs
Funeral Home with Rev. Sher-
wood S Davis officiating. Burial
was ip Oak Hill Cemetery under
the auspices of W. J. Nixon
Lodge No 421. AF and AM.
Alexander was found dead near
Llano Sunday, apparently the
victim of a heart attack while
deer hunting. He was a Flight
Line Mechanic at Ellington Field.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs
Edith Alexander of Pasadena; a
stepdaughter. Shirley Penny of
Pasadena; a brother, Edgar W.
Alexander of California; and two
sisters, Mrs. Mane Harper of
Wichita Falls and Mrs. Thelma
Jo Anderson of Jacksonville.

Association Again
Loy Duddlesten was re-elected
chairman of the Delhi Game Pro-
tective Association for the fourth
consecutive year at the associa-
tion's annual meeting and elec-
tion of officers last Saturday
night. The wild life management
club sponsors the Game and Fish
Commission's wild turkey restora-
tion program in the eastern sec-
tion of Caldwell County.
F B. Gilliam was elected vice-
chairman, succeeding Clark M.
Walker. James Bransom was
named treasurer, succeeding Mrs
Houston McMullen, and Mrs
Gathering McGee was re-elected
secretary of the association.
The organization's anti polio
drive was pronounced an over
whelming success at the close of
the groups third polio clinic at
which Type II of the Sabin oral
vaccine was administered to 84
persons under the sponsorship of
the Caldwell County Medical So-
ciety, with Dr. Howard L. Evans
in charge. Dr Evans was assisted
by four registered nurses, Mrs
Frances Freeman, Mrs. Eleanor
Gilliam. Mrs Ethclcne Evans .and
Mrs Helen DuddlcsU'ii.
The same number of persons
received 1 vne H| at the Delhi
clinic, conducted in October. Type
I was given in August. Donations
to the three clinics exceeded
actual cost of the vaccine by
$36 75 and that sum was donated
in cash by the assbeiation to the
Gonzales Warm Springs Founda
lion, together with a numbet* of
Christmas gifts and a supply of
towels and wash cloths.
A record crowd attended the
association's annual Christmas
party at the Delhi community
center Saturday night at which
tirfle gifts were exchanged.
Dr Evans announced that a
makeup clinic would be held
early in February ’ for anyone
who has missed any of the three
types of polio vaccine.

Marrs Funeral Home in Smithville
with Rev Aaron Burns officiating
Burial was in Byler Cemetery at
Muldoon.

died Sunday morning in a Hous-
ton hospital
Survivors include a son, George
E. Henderson of Houston; two
brothers. Johnny Henderson of
West Point and Don Henderson of
Arizona; two sisters. Mrs Rosie
Brown of Smithville and Mrs.
Nancy Votaw of San Antonio.
