EXAMINATIONS IN PROGRKSS
Early 'Tuesday morning 1t was re-
pjirted from the North Texas Slate Nor-
mal College Hut I 197, new students had
enrolled for the entrance examinations
and that the. office force was busily en-
gaged putting on new names. The ar-
rivals to this time have mostly beep
strangers, entering the .college for the
first time. The main student body is
expected to begin its arrival Tuesday
and continue through Wednesday, with
probably anore coming later than in
former years.
Reports have been received from
many students who intended entering
the college that they have been disap-
pointed in money matter* but are eu,-
deavoring to arrange to come within a
short while.. —-
The model school department of the
Normal opened Tuesday morning with
all lhe grades full except the ninth.
The students in thl* department are
not counted in the enrollment at the
college, but as part of the city public

turn sheet in two boxes, McLemore be-
ing credited with the more votes than
Hie tally sheet showed tn ’Ward 1 and
live Jess in Ward 3, Denton.
