Dear Flop, Honey, don’t worry,
husbands are equipted with an
iron clad stomach—for the first
year (that is). Don’t cry, every-
thing will work out. As far as the
dog is concerned they are meat
eaters so refusing the pie is no re-
flection.
Dear Jan, A friend of mine and
her husband are having trouble.
I gave her some advice. She was
grateful enough but now they are
mad at me. They have gone back
together. Her husband knocked
out three front teeth and I told
her that if I were in her place
I would get a divorce. I hate to
lose her friendship. What should
I do?
Dear Jan. I am a newly wed and
I try so hard to cook nice meals
and keep a nice house. I just can’t
please my husband at all. He is
forever telling me that his moth-
er can out cook anyone in the
county. I want to make my mar-
riage work but how? I cry every-
day about this. I made a pie last
week that even the dog wouldn’t
eat. Do you think I will lose
him?
Dear Jan, I have two sweet ba-
bies and I mop so much that I,
look like a mop myself. I am so
tired when night comes that I
can’t say howdy to my husband.
I may seem ungrateful but I am
not. I love my family, yet I feel
that my husband might start
looking around if I don’t start
looking like something. How can
