Burma, Shine, and India,
Esther lived in California. Two
of her daughters were born in
California.
She and Fred are the

who attended Texas Woman’s
University lives with her hus-
band and three children in

from 1945 to 1977 when they

long ways from the busy city of
Los Angeles, California, where
they are remodeling an 80 year
old house and plan on opening
a restpurant, and a collectable
shop.
Esther has lead a life of
actjvity, and variety. She
worked 4 years as a Giri Scout.
Leader in Austin; was an Avon
lady; Tupperware representa-
tive and was a clerk and
department manager in a stpre
and was a Postpl Clerk in the
Los Angeles Post, Office and
has worked as a waitress She
has been interested in Art,for 4
years. Photography is one of
her bobbies and she has her
own developer and enlarger.
Other intprest? include knfy
fag, sewing, collecting recipes
and traveling.
In her few months aa a
member of Llano Fine Art?
Guild, she has endeared
herself tp the members and
has taken her place as a very
active member in the activities
of the Guild.
Funeral Held For
PaulineJohnson
Pauline (Ratliff) Johnson,
80, of Llano, died May 29, in
the Llano Memorial Hospital
Funeral services were held
Sunday, May 31, at, 2 p.m. at,
tjie Waldrope Funeral Home
with R®* Fred Brown
officiating. Intprment, was in
the Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was born
August, 9, 1900 in Llano
County tp Richard Ratliff and
Annie Rhodes. She was mar-
ried tp Jesse F Johnson June
7, 1920 in Llano. She was a
housewife and a member of
the Methodist,Church.
Survivors include her hus-
band, Jesse Johnson of Llano,
and one sister, Mrs. Ava
Schneider of San Antpnio.
Pallbearers were J.C.
Moore, Elgin Hasse, John
Harold Schuessler, Therbert,
Stewart, Terry Joy, Gordon
Donop, Sr., Paul Collings, and
Aaron Ratliff.
