The annual Christmas Par-
ty of the Burleson Gardea
Club took place last Wednes-
day in the home of Mrs. J.
P. Best. The various rooms
were decorated in keeping
with the Holiday Season and
members exchanged plants as
gifts. Each member gave the
botanical or common name of
the plant which she brought to
the meeting, as well as simple
instructions as to care and
culture of the plant.
During the short business
meeting it was reported that
the Christmas Show and Ba-
zaar had been a greater suc-
