More of the story: Ransom Marion

Delta County and her brother Theron
Newell Page, may be buried here.
Holice and Carolyn have grown

Our hero. Dr. W D Biggs, chose

my delight I discovered on page 16
that she was the daughter of the
Methodist minister serving in Cooper
at that time. The wedding took place
in 1899 The Reverend M. C. Wilson
is mentioned only twice tn the book
No date* are given but it is Mated Dr.
Biggs practiced "a short while in
Cooper." I would gue*s Dr. and Mrs
Biggs had been married only a year or
so.
Sad to say this book is out of pnnt,
but if I find a "local* willing to part

Mary wrote again on 2-5-93. She

The 150 dub members and guest*
heartily responded to an appeal made
by B F Clark for co-operation for the
success of the Texas Centennial and
pledged their support. Mr Clark
explained a resolution adopted by the
Texas legislature, sponsored by

Records for the last fourteen years
show that unct 1925 there ha* been a
tixal dearth of vtetone* for Cooper. In
1920 "Pig' Choate. "Bull Tom"
Darwin and "Cotton" Wilson smashed
the Tiger* under a 46-0 count and
then repeated their victory the

another by 27-to-O Commerce turned
