went at the Rescue Race in
Sunday’s Playday sponsored by
the Detroit Youth Rodeo
Club I think they made it
bny the thread of David’s
shirt. Maybe it wasn't the
"perfect" ride, but it sure
proved to be a "hoot" fur all
the spectators
Playdays are for the entire
lazily When you go from 8

doesn’t leave anybody out. as
was proven by four year old
cowgirl Heather Herron, who
participated in her very first
piavday. but I bet it’s not her
last She hung in there to
make (hat banell pattern and
get old faithful back out of
the arena tkxxl ride.

Rodeo Club’s first playday

necessary funds were raised to
keep the sport active The
point winners in each age
group Places 1 through 6
were aw aided ribbon* tn each
age group in each event The
events were barrels,
straightaway poles, rings, flags,
and potato race Open events
which proved to be very
