In our laat study, ve saw how Jeaua Christ the
aessiah, referred to the leap!rod Old Toataaeot
Hebrew scriptures that referred to Hla death and
resurrection.
The first Old Teataaont scripture which refers
to Jesus la in the first book of Noaaa, called
Genests, Chapter 3 and vers 15. Thia speaks of
His Virgin birth; born of wonan, not of nan, see
Matthaw 1:18—21. The second reference to Jesus
(Gods Laab) la in Genoais 3:21 where God slew an
Innocent aniaal; its blood was shed, so that
Adaa and Eva eight have a covering for their
naked bodies after they becaae sinners by
breaking Gods One and only law in tha garden of
Eden. Genista 2:15-17 and Genesis 3:9-11.
Down through the aeny generations of people to
tiao when Jeaus (God's Laab, the real and
..in'iu*, without spot and without
offered Hiaself to Cod the Father for
of ua Ada»a race, there is no way of
knowing how aany innocent aniaals blood was shed
and their bodies offered as a sacrifice to sake
an atonesent for their Bins as thyy looked
forward to the proaised aessiah Jesus Christ,
refferod to in Genesis 3:15 and pictured or a
type of in Genesis 3:21.
There are aany other fulfilled prophecies Gods
word which could be aentloned, Those which
pointed to His, Jesus' first coaing have all
been fulfilled. Those concerning His second
coaing toill all be fulfilled in Gods own tine.
How aany prophecies there are which do not speak
bf Jesus, I do not know. Many have been
fulfilled and others will be fulfilled tn Gods
own good tine.
One of the prophecies (proaises) that Cod aade
to Noah after the flood, Genesis 9:11, was that
He would never again destroy all the earth with
a flood of water. This has been fulfilled up to
this tike, and will continue to be. The rainbow
is a realnder of this proaise; to God and to all
generations since that tine. Genesis 9:12-17.
1st Kings 22:1-38, God gives us a true
