The latest in fall fashions for
the entire family and an occa-
sional trip down memory lane
to the early 1900’s period cos-
tumes kept the attention of the
over 200 people who attended
the Fashion Fantasy Style Show
sponsored by the Coastal Plex
Republican Women's Club to
benefit their scholarship pro-
gram.
Mrs. Carol Herron, president
of the club, said that she was
thrilled with the turnout and the
support from the models and
the participating stores, ad-
ding, “We are pleased that so
many people were willing to
lend us their time and their ex-
pertise. The style show was a
success and will allow us to
make our two scholarships larg-
er than we had originally
thought.” /
The club will be giving a
scholarship to a graduating
senior from Aransas Pass and
one to a graduating senior from
Ingleside in the spring com-
mencement exercises of each
school in ISM.
The style show was held at the
activity hall of the First United
Methodist Church in Aransas
Pass at 7:90 p.m. on Thursday,
August 25.
Styles that reflected fall
fashions for every occasion
were shown by several stores in
Aransas Pass and Ingleside.
