Longview, formerly of Tatum,
will be held at 10 a.m. July 6 at
Jimerson Funeral Home Chapel.
The Revs. Bruce Will and Jack
Harris will officiate. Burial will
follow in Youngblood Cemetery
in Beckville under the direction
of Jimerson Funeral Home. She
died July 3 in a Longview hos-
pital
Bom July 15, 1924 in
Beckville, she was the daughter
of Jack O. and Carrie Bell
Blackmon Adams. He was
reared in Beckville, and the
1950s and early 1960s she and
her husband were the owners
and operators of Shiver's Rest
Home. She then resided in
Tatum for the next 20 years and
for the past 15 years in
Longview
She retired after 18 years of
employment with Safeway as a
meat wrapper in the meat mar-
ket. She was a caring and loving
mother and will be missed by all
whose lives she touched. She
was a member of Calvary Bap-
tist Church in Beckville, and
