Dorman Moore; from the elementary
school. Betty Bauer. Myrna Mund.
Carol Province. Kathy Geitweidt.
Junell Nixon and Charlotte Blessing;
junior high. Mary Jane Dillard. Carol
Gann. Neva Kemper and Billie
Laning; high school. Jimmie Croker.
Nancy Ethridge. Debbie Rabb and
Charles Reaves.
Trustees accepted the audit sub-
mitted by W. Davis. Kinard and
Company. There were not any dis-
crepancies found by the audit, and
the school was commended for good
accounting procedures
Il was noted that tax collections
could be better Only 84 9 percent of
the taxes had been collected, which
means about IS percent of the totes
are delinquent.
’ According to the figures, we stfi
have about $561,000 to be cut-
ie cted,’’ Moore said. "This
sizeable amount.”
Superintendent Moore reported
the second six weeks' failure report
was better than last year's, although
it was not quite as good as the first
six weeks. The house adjacent to the
baseball field will be modified for a
field house and storage facility.
Moore gave trustees evaluation
sheets for them to use in evaluating
his wort as a superintendent.
1995-96. the attendance at Jr. High
is projected to grow to 435 stu-
dents. an increase of 100 students in
10 years.
Multipurpose cafetorium (cafeter-
ia that may also be used for large
assemblies, etc., or other auditorium
uses) would house 400 to 450
students so that there would no need
for students to leave campus for
lunch (close campus). Present cafe
teria facilities at elementary (pre-
sently Jr. High is served here) are
inadequate for elementary and Jr.
High students."
Third on the list at the junior high
is to modify the auditorium, pro-
viding a teacher workroom lounge,
expand two classrooms and add
restroom facilities. Completion date:
September 1, 1987.
Justification:
"Current teacher workroom/
lounge is inadequate (portable build-
ing) and the two classrooms that
were built at the back of the
auditorium are too small—they need
to be enlarged to accomodate 24
27 students comfortably Restroom
facilities in the Jr. High are
inadequate."
Item 4 is a new band hall for 175
student capacity and four additional
classrooms at the high school.
Completion of the band hall is set for
September 1, 1987. and class-
rooms are to be ready for the 1988-89
school year.
Justification!
"Present band hall capacity is less
than 100 students; presently H.S.
band has in excess of 125 stu-
dents and is projected to go to in
excess of 150 students in the future.
Present band hall could be utilized as
an athletic off-season facility or
additional classroom. Classrooms
that are needed include I for health
and other electives. 2 math class-
rooms and I self-contained special
education classroom."
Two more projects will be re-
viewed next week on elementary and
administrative needs.

mittee are as follows: Chairman.
