gust next, for building a union Presbyte-
rian and Baptist Church, in the town of La
Gtange—either of brick, or wood, of the
following dimensions: 30 feet by 32, 16
feet high in the clear, 18 inches from the
ground to the top of sleepers, stone foun-
dation, tin roof, el'iptic arch 2 feet high in-
•ide, ceiled overhead, and if of wood, ceiled
all round, otherwise plastered side and
ends, heavy cornice all round, 10 windows
24 lights 12 by 16, wi|h elliptic arch over
each, the sash to be hung by weights, two
folding doors, a cupola 10 feet high and 10
square on die top in front, floor to be ton-
gued and grooved, doors hung and win-
dows finished—if of wood, the frame to be
of good substantial materials. The con-
tractor to furnish all the materials and com-
pute the job in a workman-like manner,

rity, in the sum of ten thousand dollars,
payable to the Governor and his successor
in office, for the faithful discharge of the
duties which may be assigned them, which
said bond shall be approved by the Gover-
nor and filed with the Secretary of State,
upon which suit may be brought, from time
to time, and not to be void upon the first
recovery, for a forfeiture thereof: and each
member shall also take and subscribe the
following oath, befofe any person legally
authorized to administer the same: “Ido
hereby solemnly swear, (or affirm, as the
case may be,) that I will well and trulv
discharge all the duties as a member of the —„
board of Internal Improvement^ to which
I have been elected, which may be imposed
upon me by the Legislature, from titee to
timeand said members of the board
shall receive two dollars per day for each
