Denton has for a good many
years been the recognized beauty-
spot for its Christmas lighting ef-
fects. Thia year, it appears from
present plans, tbs city will bo oven
more decorated than in the years
gone. But, if the city hall can be
made more beautiful than it was in
the days when Mrs. W. R. (Bill)
Hicks had charge of the decoration
there — well, it will be sump’n. If
we remember correctly it was she
who first started Denton on its
way to its reputation aa "the beau-
tifully Christmas-lighted city.”
