HOUND ABOUT. TOWN^
"The homed frog flptaxfe
Eastland reminds me of a similar
instance that happened several
years ago at the University’of Penn-
sylvania." said Philip D. Coury Fri
dky morning. “Professor ot Engin-
eering Lang told the class of hav
ing dynamited a huge rock, about
rik feet in diameter, and that when
the rock was split by the explosion
a common toad frog was found in-
ride the fuck. The frog was per-
fectly white, and when it
touched Jumped around as
toad would. I remember it quite-
well, even tho it has been several
years since, as when I doubted the
occasion, and expressed my ideas io
Pi Of. Lang. I was suspended from
tljc class for quite a while. The
Eat land frog instance brings back
the toad frog episode to me and if
I knew Where ITof Itong was pbw 1
would write to apologize for my al l
tilude at that time.”
