Taken By Death
Funeral arrangements were
pending late Saturday at Schmiz-
Floyd-Hamlett Funeral Chapel for
James Leroy Williams, 55, who
died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in a
Denton hospital.
Mr. Williams, who lived at 1817
James, was born at Walcott, Ark.
In 1902. He married the former
Miss Mattle Lena Scilslerin at
Jonesboro, Ark., in 1922, and was
a corporal in the Eighth Air Force
in World War II.
A member of the Cooper Creek
Methodist Church and the Veter-
ans of Foreign Wars, he was em-
ployed at the Nicklebilt Motel. He
moved to Denton two years ago
from Rylie.
Mr. Williams is survived by his
wife, one son, John L. Wiiams
of Riverside. Calif. four daugh
ten. Mrs. John Mosteller of Phoe-
nix. Arix., Mrs. Russel Farley of
Rylie, Mrs. Jack McLane of Bra-
zil. S.A., and Mrs. Paul Pickett
of Azusa. alif.; one brother. four
sisters, and 12 grandchildren.
