A stonn that swept through the area
over the weekend did some damage in
the Highlands area, but left Baytown and
Chambers County almost unscathed.
Although CenterPoint reported some

Fire Marshal Ryan Holzaepfel said
Chambers County had very little damage
from the stonn.
“The only significant event I am aware
of is that a home in Beach City lost its
roof yesterday during the weather event,”
Holzaepfel said.
Holzaepfel added the home is located
on Lawrence Drive by the RWJ Airpark.
However, Highlands was not so lucky.

are 423 unidentified people
buried in area cemeteries.
“Helping loved ones of

Alberts and other Harris

This is a day where mem-

“We want people to come

Sheriff Gonzalez said the
event could help find an-

“They have lost a loved

they can be,” Gonzalez
said. “On April 27, they
