A man reported being
robbed at gunpoint in the
3000 block of West Baker
Road about 9 p.m. Sunday.
Police spokesman Sgt.
John Butler said the vic-
tim reported he was put-
ting air in his tires when
an unknown man came up
behind him and hit him in
the head with a pistol, then
demanded his wallet and

man was charged with ag-
gravated assault after he re-
portedly pulled a gun on a
wrecker driver attempting
to repossess his vehicle.
The man, identified as
Shane Moyer, said he only
pulled the gun because the
wrecker driver was trying
to move another vehicle he
had parked behind the one
being repossessed.
• A Baytown man said he
was driving in a parking lot
in the 1700 block of North
Alexander Drive when an-
other driver acted like he
was going to hit him.

out of his vehicle, pointed a
handgun at the complainant
and pistol-whipped him.
Butler said 27-year-old
Andres Hernandez was
charged with aggravated

12:50 a.m. in reference to
a disturbance that occurred
in Tejas Park, 505 Hafer
Ave., between the girl and
her father in reference to
her going to the park with
her boyfriend.
She is identified as Vera
Kirk, 5 feet, 4 inches tall,
weighing 130 pounds,
with short black hair and
brown eyes. She was last
seen wearing gray pants, a
black shirt and a gray and
red jacket that looks like a

A 39-year-old Baytown
man was found in a neigh-
bor’s carport in the 700
block of Barcelona Circle
about 4:15 p.m. Friday, go-
ing through the neighbor’s
possessions and banging
on a table with a hammer.
Butler said that when an
officer told him to stop, he
replied that the table was
abandoned and he could do
what he wanted.
When he resisted arrest,
the officer used a Taser
to subdue him. The man
was found to have a glass
pipe and a substance that
tested positive for meth-
amphet-amine. He was
charged with possession of
a controlled substance.
Mental health
A large police presence
in the area of Hines Ave-
nue about 6:30-7 p.m. Sun-
day was related to a mental
health call, Butler said. Po-
lice were able to calm the
individual down and obtain
an emergency detention
order for a mental health
