ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCKMENT-Mr. and Mrs. Ilomer T.
Krandon of Cushing announce the engagement and approaching
marriage of their daughter, Betty Jean, to Larry Dean Allen,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Allen of Husk. The wedding will be
an event of 7::10 p.m., Friday, June 2X in the Calvary Baptist
Church in Husk. Friends and relatives of the couple are invited
to attend.

The sidewalk leading to the
front door was lined with
hurricane lamps containing
lavender flowers with pink
bows and ribbons. Guests were
greeted at the front door which
was adorned with a large pink
bow from which fell pink and
lavender streamers and large
and small white bells.
Mrs. Wright welcomed the
guests and they were received
by the honoree: her mother,
Mrs. Cleland Parsons and Mrs,
Billy Fitch, mother of the
prospective groom.
The refreshment table was
covered with white lace draped
over the side with lace and
white tulle over white taffeta.
The lace border was caught at
the table's edge with pink
nosegays tied with pink and
lavender ribbon.
The centei piece was an
arrangement ol pink roses,
pink and lavender carnations,
pink and lavender gladiolas
and baby's breath in a crystal
bowl container footed with a
tall silver etipiri
Refreshments of lavender
and pink dccorated cake
squares, nuts, mints and fruit
punch were served In Brenda
Smith, Weida llassell, Brenda
Moore, Celesta Christopher,
Janell Pose\ and Jenny
Vining.
Guests were registered at
the bride's book by Nelda Kitts
and Jan Birdwell.
Appropriate decorations
were placed at vantage points
throughout the areas where the
many gifts were displayed.
Tidrow & Goff Reunion Set
The Tidrow and Goff
Reunion is slated May 26 at
Lake Crook, near Paris, Texas.
Each family is asked to bring
a picnic lunch with plates,
napkins, etc.
In case of rain it is to be held
at Wade Park in Paris.
Mrs C. H. Tidrow states that
close to a hundred attended
last year and hopes for as
many or more this year. "It's
a lot of fun to see who is
growing younger," she adds.
