many a mother in the past has suffered through fatal

Teach your children never to touch a bottle with
our warning, “POISON” on it. Warn the grown-ups,

This. one of 1935‘s mqst dramatic pictures, was taken as Italian airmen loosed a rain of death on Dessye,

1 PARIS, Dec. 27.—•(P,—France may
propose a fleet limitation plan ac-
ceptable to all five powers when
the London naval conference re-
convenes next month, Navy Minis-
ter Francois Pietri said today.
France feels as strongly as does
Japan against any attempt of "the
American and British navies to
cause their pre-eminence to become
permanent,: he asserted.
‘‘We have not forgotten that at
the same time Japan denounced the
Washington treaty last December,
we presented a similar notirication.
"At the moment of suspension of
athe 15-day session, the British had
just made a proposal. The Japaneso
constdered this suggestion inade-
quate and adhered to their demand
for a 'common upper level.' \
"We deemed it excessive, for we'
think we see in It simply a renewal
of the Washingtan treaty, narrow-
er but charged with the same un-
