pasture since January 1st. They
are big, heavy shearing speep not

Fruit Not Killed.
The fact that the fruit was not
killed by the snow and freeze of
last week was received with many
expressions of thankfulness by the
people of this section of the State
for not in years has the prospects
for a big fruit crop been so prom-
ising as it is this year. The heavy
frost did some damage to young
vegetables but as there is vet
plenty of time to start a garden
one might say there was no dsm-
age done.
