Frazier. The awards were made as part of the graduation ceremonies held
last Thursday at Lnno High School auditorium.

Altogether, the students earned
52,332.27 through their sponsored
reading, to which World Book
contributed an additional 51,166.41,
making a total of 53,498.41 with
which to purchase reference sets for
their classrooms.
Soil Conservation poster contest
awards were presented. Mrs. Mary
Lou Smathers awarded certificates to
those students who placed in the
poster contest. Elizabeth Boyd in the
fourth grade received a trophy for
being the overall winner.
Presidential Academic Fitness Aw-
ards were presented to 20 fifth grade
students. This award is given to
those students who have maintained
an 85 average, accumulated in
elementary school, scored at or
above the 80 percentile on the
California Achievement test, and
attended school in Llano in the fourth
and fifth grades.

for the presentation of special
