Denton councilmen submitted their
first recommendations for changes in
the Denton City Charter to the newly
appointed Charter Revision Com-
mittee in a joint meeting Tuesday
night.
Mayor Pro Tern Ray Stephens in-
troduced each of the 11 persons ap-
pointed to review the charter and
bring recommendations to the council
for a charter revision election.
Councilman Roland Vela said the
two highest priorities for the com-

was shot and killed Tuesday mor-
ning in an apparent robbery of the

Field in Dallas
The body of Dorothy Warden was
found late Tuesday morning on the
floor of the Dobbs House Inc office
in the basement of the airport

halted just after noon Tuesday when
prosecutor David Bays requested
the charge against Moreno be with
drawn and asked for a directed
verdict of acquittal
Presiding Judge Sam Houston.
