Schwarte-Coffey vows exchanged
Abby Marie Coffey and Eric Ryan
Schwarte were united in a marriage
Mass Sept. 24, 2005, at St. Peter the
Apostle Catholic Church in Boerne.
Father Tony Cummins performed the
ceremony. The bride was given in mar-
riage by her brother, Cable Coffey of
Denver, Colo.
She is the daughter of Jim and Cheryl
Akin of Fair Oaks Ranch. The groom is
the son of Dave and Michelle Schwarte
of Arlington.
Readings were given by the fathers of
the bride and groom. Maid of honor
was Kelly Gehrman, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Lora Lowe, Chris-
tine Schwarte, sister of the groom,
Kelly Stewart and Angie Towery. Katy
Gehrman, the bride’s niece, was the
flower girl.
The best man was the brother of the
groom, Matt Schwarte. Groomsmen
were Chris Carter, Zach Gano, Jeff
Hurst, Greg Mainzer and Cole
Risinger. The ring bearer was Adam
Nelson, cousin of the groom.
Following a reception at Fair Oaks
Country Club, the couple returned to
their home in Pittsburgh, Pa., where
Eric is attending Carnegie Mellon Uni-
versity for his MBA. They will take a
honeymoon during the upcoming holi-
days.

Joo-Christianson engagement told
Alan Gingrich of Broomfield, Colo.,
and Lynn Gingrich of Arvada, Colo.,
announce the engagement and ap-
proaching marriage of their daughter,
Jennifer Hyun Joo, to Karl Walter
Christianson of Boerne, son of Ellie
Christianson of Lafayette, La., and the
late Walter Christianson.
The bride is also the daughter of the
late Dzintra Gingrich-Beadles and
Murray Beadles of Boerne,
The bride graduated from Southwest-
ern University and teaches German for
the Boerne Independent School Dis-
trict.
The groom graduated from the Uni-
versity of Louisiana-Lafayette with a
bachelor’s degree and master of educa-
tion. He is a guidance counselor at
BHS.
The couple will be married Nov. 19,
2005, at the First United Methodist
Church in Boerne.
