and Col. Snee was the only one
to go overseas, at his request!
I went to a stag party (men
only) and they had Alaska POL-
LOCK fillets on the menu. I
thought of a few of the old tank
drivers from the Company -
Kolakowski, Rudzenski, and
Sarnocinski. The pollock was a
replacement for the turkey fries
(turkey fries at $5.79 per pound
and the pollock at 79<P per
pound). Which brings to mind
a ship a-cruising in the Island
waters with Merrill and Faye
Irey and Eddie and Chick Bus-
cavage all on board. Then a
postal report that Bill and
Gladys Boes were in the Tampa
and Port Richey area and had
the pleasure of visits with both
the Buscavage's and then with
Stan and Libby Sarnocinski.
Boes also got to visit with the
new 2nd VP of the 12th, Robert
and Martha Downey.
