Fourth, Whereas, there have been numbers upon numbers of parties,
members of the Preparatory School of Polytechnic College, and members
of the College Department of Polytechnic College, who have shown their
eagerness to just even touch one large strip of domestic, ten feet long, three
feet wide and with the word "SOPHOMORE" beautifully outlined there-
upon in brilliant red letters, and having signed at the bottom of said sheet
and in the left-hand corner the following "Hilburn, Shapard, Byrd, Ptrs.,"
and whereas they have attempted to remove said piece of domestic from
different bed slats upon which it has been suspended on various occasions
so that the public might see same sheet, we hereby grant and convey upon
our death a strip of said domestic one-quarter inch wide and two inches
long to all who coay have at any time during the year 1911 have touched
said flag, and said claim may be substantiated by filing an affidavit, as-
serting that said party has touched said rag, with the dean of said Poly-
technic College.Witness our hands and official seals
this 21 day of May, 1911.
