We the students of DBS, feel
the necessity of informing the
public of activities occurring
in our school system. Because
of this, we are going to try to
enter a column in the paper
each week. During football sea-
son, we will be discussing the
previous game and looking to
ward the next game.
Last week, the Dublin Lions
traveled to Midway High Sch-
ool at Waco. After four quar-
ters of hard play, the final score
was 264), Midway’s favor. But
remeber Midway is almost a
3-A school and we are just a
1-A school.
Next Friday night we play
Hamilton, here, at 8:00 p.m.
This will be an important
game and the Dublin Lions need
youtrfupport. Be sure to attend ■
the game and cheer the lions
on to victory.
The Dublin band has attend-
ed both games and marched at
halftime. The Dublin Band di-
rector, John Ivie, has announ-
ced that this week’s'half-time
show will be entitled religion
on the March.” We wiy.feature
some of the all time favorite
hymns, and in our spectacular
light finale, a bras chofr will
be featured.
