General Statistics
While districts from 1A to 5A changed often dra-
matically, the enrollment cut-offs remained very simi-
lar to those used in the 2000 realignments Class 5A
went down, from 1,910 and above in 2000 to 1,865 and
above this year, but remained at 225 schools. Class 4A
dropped the most, from 900 to 1,909 in 2000 to 845 to 1864
this yew. Total schools declined from 224 to 218.
Class 3A’s bottom level of 345 remained the same,
while the upper level dropped to 844 from 898. There
