of Carthage, TX, was held
from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday,
Jan. 17, 2014, at Jimerson-
Lipsey Funeral Home.
Gilliam passed away on
Monday morning, Jan. 13,
2014, in Carthage.
Tony Weldon Gilliam
was born on Feb. 21, 1963,
in Baird, TX to Joe and
Cloretta Franklin Gilliam.
He worked as a chiller op-
erator at Tyson Foods in
Carthage for the past six
years. He married Kahlan
Jones on Sept. 4, 2005, in
Carthage. Gilliam loved
riding his bike and work-
ing out. He moved to
Carthage in 2006, from Pet-
ty, TX. He was preceded in
death by his father and one
brother, James Gilliam.
Gilliam is survived by
his wife, Kahlan Gilliam of
