Mr. and Mrs. Riley Ray visited
with Mrs. Ray's sister, Mrs. Willie
Anderson in a Brown wood hospi-
tal Sunday. Mrs. Anderson enter-

past week. She is suffering at
present from a nervous condition.
Sunday afternoon, when the Rays
left, Mrs Anderson was better.

here Monday evening and will con-

Delta Kappa Gamma
Holds Fall Meeting
The Alpha Chi chapter of Delta
Kappa Gamma met in Llano, Batur*
day afternoon, Sept. 18, at the
Woman’s Culture club building, for
the first fall meeting. The new
president, Mrs. Ima Mae Muston of
Lometa, presided.
Mrs. H. T. Harrison of Llano,
presented the topic, “Current
Events Concerning International
Affairs”. Mrs. Hudson Fowler
j played piano selections. Slide* of
j her trip into the Rockies and
I Canada this summer were ahown
| by Mrs. George Pechacek.
A tea hour followed the pro-
j gram and business. The table was
' laid with a noff-whlte cloth of
| linen and held a centerpiece of
! zinnias In fall shades. All appoint-
ments were in desert gold pottery
which blended with the autumn
motif. Mrs. Muston served the
punch; and Mrs. Harrison the em-
bossed sandwich loaf
About 30 were present from the
six town of the four-county dis-
trict, Including Marble Falls, Bur-
net, Lampasas, Lometa, San Saba
and Llano.
