animal star of the picture, with Ro-
Wielle Hudson. Paul Kelly and Robert
Kent heading the Hollywood cast.
"The Country Beyond” is a thrill-
ing story which presents “Buck” as
a heroic dog who helps a "mountle
bring a killer to Justice and find ro-
mance tn the trackless North woods.

T. A. met in regular session Friday
night. After a short program was
rendered the folowing business was
taken up: It was decided to buy
magazines and other literature
amounting to $20.00, for the reading
room. Raising of money was discuss-
ed, and it was decided to have a
country store Saturday night which
will include a grabbag, and fish pond.
Dr. Bowman and wife were with us
and Dr. Bowman gave an interesting
talk on the necessity of having a
nurse visit our school and make an
examination of every school child’s
health. Especially eyes, ears, teeth
and tonsils. Every parent present
was very much tn favor of this pro-
ject and will cooperate wP.h Dr. Bow
man in every* way possible.
Mrs. Sammie Jeffrey sent in her
resignation as treasurer and after the
meeting was dismissed, the executive
committee met and appointed N. A
Talley to fill that vacancy.
The program rendered by the los-
ing side Saturday night was enjoyed
hy all present. The reds have decid
tided the blues are very good enter-
tainers after all.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis Smith are the
proud parents of a baby girl. The
young lady has been named Belva
Lou. '
Mr. an Mrs. Clyde Winkler and
daughter. Martha Ellen were Sunday
guests of Mr and Mrs J. C. Winkler
Mr. and Mrs Arthur Stark and fam-
ily moved to Burnet the past week
The Stark family came here three
years ago from Burnet and have a
host of friends who regret losing
them from our community. We truly
hope for them much happiness and
prosperity in their Burnet home.
