Chistianity is More Than . . .
Christianity is not all sweet-
ness! Christianity is more than
pictures of Jesus among flowers
and singing birds. Christianity
is more than a Golden Rule or
a Christmas story or a speech
on a green hill in Galilee. Chris-
tianity is more than a new mor
ality a code of ethics or n new
social order. Christianity is more
than an emphasis in good deeds
or forced charities. Christianity
is more than respectable lives
by the standards of this world.
Yes there are many contemp-
orary misconceptions of Christ
ianity.
Christianity is Jesus Christ.
And Jesus Christ means even
more than the following con-
cepts sight for the blind vic-
arious suffering death on the
cross glorious resurrection and
everlasting victory.
The mission of Jesus Christ
was to seek and save the lost.
How did he perform this defin
ite mission?
Not by being a nebulous float-
ing deity create'd in the finite
mind of a Greek philosopher
but he did his mission by being
fully-God and fully-man and he
was able to love to feel and to
understand the human predica-
ment that is estrangement and
alienation from God and he was
victorious over death. The cry-
ptic question could be asked by
the Christian without fear "O
death where is thy sting O gra
ve where is thy victory?" Yes.
the two black ravens which sy-
mbolically have feasted on the
flesh of all mankind were cap
tured and conquered. How glor-
ious the Ghristian gospel. It is
incomparable and no wonder
I love to say that it is a great
responsibility to "preach the Un-
searchable riches of Chirst."

We planted Top Hand in 1975 and. were
well pleased. I had. a S variety test plot
and Top Hfuid came in first. Grandee
came in fourth but out yielded all
Qowny. Mildew Resistant varieties1-
in Uiie lest. This is with the Grandee
germination only being- 58.
We will plant more Top Hand in 1976
where downy mildew is no problem
and will plant Grandee whero downy
is a. problem.
The threshability on Top Hand and
Grandee was real good and they
cleaned out excellent. We would
recommend our neighbors and friends
to try it and compare.
