Cranberry Cake
1 1-pound can whole cran- 1 18-ounce package Dromedary
berry sauce Scone Mix
1/S cup chopped pecans 8/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon grated orange

In a well-greased B'-round baking pan arrange cranberry sauce,
chopped pecans and grated orange rind; set aside. Prepare the.
Scone Mix with milk according to package directions; spoon on
top of cranberry mixture. Spread out so it covers cranberry mix-
ture completely, sealing all edges.
Bake in a 400*F. oven for 20-25 minutes until top is golden.
Cool 5 minutes then invert on plate. Before serving garnish with
large dollops of whipped cream sprinkled with nutmeg. Makes 6-8
servings.

open house at their home south

Mr. and Mrs. Lee were mar-
ried November 12, 1911, and
have lived in Red River and
LaMar counties since that time.
Mrs. Lee Is the former Miss
C!eo Turner.

N. Lee and Willie Lee, Bogata;
Frank Lee, Deport; Robert Lee,
Dallas; J. D. Lee, Mrs. Hershell
Blasengame and Mrs. Leon
Tuck, all of Fort Worth; Mrs.
Erbie Stevens, Paris, and Mrs.
Claude Tyler, Blossom. Another
daughter, Mrs. Claude Pierce,
passed away this year.
The couple has 17 grandclilld-
len and three great-grandchild-
